It's been an exceptional year, thank you to all the entrants!
Now in it's 6th year, the 2024
Global Makeup Awards has gained traction from beauty brands all across the globe. Indeed - the wards was formally run for the separate regions of UK, ASIA, USA and Scandinavia, and now it is one combined for all brands globally with individual region categories for brands. It's always interesting to see the innovation each year and to delve deeper into the new products brands have launched, or equally to see which direction brands are going in with their ranges.
Some have been looking at expanding their green ethos and others have embraced the true spirit of Christmas with new launches and new packaging.
One brand who we have been following for years is Inika Organics. They are an Australian organic brand who are known for using ingredients which are 100% Natural and Vegan ingredients and have been tested for safety and purity. They are now also leading the way in sustainable beauty, by using sustainable packaging & tackling the plastic crisis head on. Their packaging has been replaced and redesigned to fit this philosophy. They won several gold's in this year's Global Makeup Awards including gold for their soothing gel mask. Similarly- we have seen dōTERRA enter their Roam Diffuser which is made with natural, polished ground stone, making each diffuser unique. The rest of the diffuser is made from an eco-friendly post-consumer recycled resin, which adds to its simple, natural beauty.
We have also loved to see Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter's approach to Christmas beauty gifts. Their products have been beautifully showcased in pink gift sets with as well as also launching a playful 'Christmas Cracker' with one of their famous tans inside. We love this playful approach to promoting their products.
Cloud Nine has also entered this year showcasing their styling products to make your hair feel as good as it looks. We have to mention their gorgeous Starlight Collection Original Iron Luxe Gift Set which makes for the perfect gift for someone special to open on Christmas day. We've also loved seeing Baylis and Harding's spectacular gift sets in their eye-catching boxes and signature sweet mandarin ad grapefruit scent. Or for something more luxurious - how about Argentum Apothecary with their Christmas scents such as Magician.
This year we have seen brands embrace the fun, light and cheer of Christmas. We look forward to showing you some of these winner's in more details with new categories such as Best Christmas Gift for Her and Best Luxury Christmas Gift. We also have a couple of pages of Christmas git ideas before we go into the winners list as this year's awards date falls on 2nd December - so you have plenty of time to still find the perfect gifts.
