In my last blog I wrote about some of the haircare winners in this year’s 2024 Universal Beauty Awards. Today I want to continue on this theme, digging a little deeper into the backgrounds of other brands who had success at the awards! Today I'll specifically be looking at some of our hair care winners.
Beginning with Best Shampoo Gold Winners, we have Zenz Organic, a Danish brand committed to sustainable beauty, offering organic, eco-friendly hair and skincare products. They prioritise natural, certified organic ingredients, avoiding harsh chemicals. Promoting a holistic approach to beauty, they seek to ensure their products are gentle on both users and the environment, with a strong focus on ethical practices. They have a great range of products but the winner in this category was Zenz Organic Shampoo Deep Wood No. 07, a natural, gentle shampoo made for sensitive scalps and all hair types. Enriched with organic aloe vera and essential oils, it nourishes while cleansing. The earthy "Deep Wood" scent provides a calming experience, free from harmful chemicals like parabens and silicones.
Now let’s look at the Gold Winners for Best Strengthening Shampoo who were PARK Styling, a modern haircare brand known for its innovative, salon-quality products. Focused on sustainability and performance, PARK uses natural, eco-friendly ingredients in its formulations. The brand caters to professionals and consumers alike, offering a range of styling and care products that prioritise both hair health and environmental responsibility.
Ylang Ylang Shampoo for Coloured/Dry Hair by PARK Styling is designed to nourish and protect colour-treated and dry hair. Infused with ylang-ylang essential oil and other moisturising ingredients, this shampoo helps maintain colour vibrancy while deeply hydrating. It leaves hair soft, shiny, and healthy, without harsh chemicals or sulphates.
In the Best Nourishing Conditioner category, the gold went to Kerasilk for their repairing conditioner. Kerasilk is a premium hair care brand under Goldwell, renowned for its luxurious, salon-quality products. Kerasilk offers tailored solutions for various hair needs, focusing on transforming hair texture and condition. Known for advanced formulations and innovative technologies, Kerasilk products deliver long-lasting results, enhancing hair's beauty and manageability.

Taking home Gold for Best Shampoo or Conditioner Bar was KMS, a professional haircare brand known for high-performance products that blend science and innovation.
KMS Moist Repair Solid Shampoo Bar is a nourishing, eco-friendly option for dry, damaged hair. This solid bar hydrates and repairs hair with its rich, moisture-locking formula. Free from sulphates and plastic packaging, it’s convenient for travel and helps reduce environmental impact while delivering effective, salon-worthy care.
Gold Winners for best Dry Shampoo was Klorane with their Klorane Oat & Ceramide Dry Shampoo. Klorane is a French skincare and haircare brand renowned for its botanical expertise.
Another breathtaking winner in this beauty awards was won by the recently launched haircare brand Voduz. They won with their Voduz Pure Silk.
